Body Systems Card Sort Activity

This activity allows students to sort the 10 body systems by system, main function, and major organs.

I use this body systems card sort activity in my class when I'm teaching body systems, but also use it for intervention/tutoring, and test reviews. This students will thank you for allow them to play a game rather than have to study notes.

The systems included are:

  • Circulatory
  • Skeletal
  • Endocrine
  • Muscular
  • Integumentary
  • Nervous
  • Digestive
  • Excretory
  • Respiratory
  • Reproduction

This activity is aligned with TEKS 7.12B but will work for anyone studying body systems.

7.12B identify the main functions of the systems of the human organism, including the circulatory, respiratory, skeletal, muscular, digestive, excretory, reproductive, integumentary, nervous, and endocrine systems.
