What Are Your Favorite Test Review Games

I realize that reviewing for a test with Jeopardy has probably been around campuses for as long as the show has been on television, but it’s still one of my go to review games.  I much prefer to do that than have the kids do a packet.  Ideally, I like to set it up with my SMART board and pair it with my Senteo clickers so that every kid gets (has) to answer every question.  I set the class up into two teams and each team answers each question.  I can also control (read as..rig) the game with a couple of clickers to make sure that it stays competitive and that each team remains engaged throughout the entire game.

The one problem with this setup is that it doesn’t allow for open ended questions.  We’ve been trying a lot harder to move away from multiple choice questions this year and the clicker Jeopardy just won’t work easily with those types of questions.

This is the SMART board template that I use with my class.  You don’t have to have clickers to use it.  Actually, you don’t even need a SMART board.  You will need the Notebook software though.

What games do you like to play for test reviews?  I need some fresh ideas!
